The Super Six Extension/Pole unit is a two-piece system designed for official 10’ play only. Features include the safety and security advantages of the conventional one-piece "gooseneck" style pole system and the always exact "adjustable" pole system. The extra-long 6’ extension allows the pole to be set 2’ outside an official playing area. The 14’ vertical pole is made from 4" square structural steel with 3/16"walls, weighing 9.5 pounds per foot. The extension is also 4" square steel, welded to a 4-1/2" square collar. It mounts 30" over and down the vertical pole. A welded stabilizing brace from the extension to the collar offers additional rigidity. The collar has two set bolts that allow minor adjustment for height and squareness to the playing surface after setting the pole in the concrete footing. The collar is permanently capped at the top to prevent the extension from slipping down, even if the set bolts were loosened or removed. Both extension and pole are primed and coated with a chip- and rust- resistant black acrylic urethane finish. Special colors are available on request. #572
The Pro/Am is the finest residential system available. The 1/2" thick acrylic rectangular backboard id 36" x 48" and is encased in a weather resistant brushed aluminum frame for increased rigidity and authentic rebound. Official style white perimeter and target markings provide the look and feel of playing in a championship game.
The pole is made form heavy-duty 4" square steel. The 3’ extension arm can be adjusted from 6’ to official 10’ play. Both the extension and pole are coated with a durable black acrylic urethane coating. The plated sway braces attach directly to the pole and the outer perimeter of the backboard frame for added safety and product endurance. In addition, the goal is mounted through the board directly into the extension arm.
