Installation commences with the Sportscreen being unfolded and run out along the chain link fence. Start in one corner by inserting the plastic tie through the selvedge edge and fixing to the fence by fixing ties every 12".

After 15-30’ go back and tie the bottom edge ensuring that the fabric is pulled tight as the ties are inserted. Once this is done continue installing the length of fabric. The ends can be finished by folding into a 2" hem and fixing with a tie wrap.

Sportscreen features a 2 3/8" selvedge band through the middle of the fabric, designed to evenly spread tension points when fixing. Additional ties can be fixed to the reinforced band every 6-8’ to reduce billowing.

This warranty excludes any breakdown resulting from over tensioning, mechanical friction damage incurred by poor or incorrect installation, and is limited to replacement of the cloth only.

The Windscreen Advantage

Windscreens are an attractive and functional way to eliminate bothersome noise and visual distractions. With these two adverse elements removed concentration and level of play improves.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene is heat-set to prevent shrinkage. It’s water shedding, sun resistant and easy to clean. Polypropylene screens come in either open mesh (OMP) or closed mesh (CMP) styles.

Considerations Screens are available in standard 6’ or 9’ heights. Custom heights are available by quotation. Make sure the fence is well anchored and in good condition before installing windscreens. Any screen width is available, however, 60’ is the maximum recommended width per panel. Standard color on windscreens is dark green. Other color must be specified.
